The story revolves around Joha, a beloved character in Arabic folklore tales. It includes delightful illustrations provided by Mr. Nikos Karabetsos. A second book in the series, Joha and His Mule Go To Market, will be available for purchase in the Spring and will be illustrated by Iraqi orphans from various regions within Iraq. These books will not only bring to life some of the most well-liked characters in Arabic folklore, but also provide a means for Iraqi orphans to channel their creativity through artistic means. In addition, all the funds raised through the sale of these books, will go back to Iraqi to support programs being implemented by Generation Iraq for these children.
