Cassie Pill

Cassie Pill is the Deputy Executive Director for Generation Iraq.  Her work involves overseeing program implementation, ensuring good stewardship of donations, and promoting and gathering support for the youth served through Generation Iraq.

Ms. Pill was raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. She received both a Bachelor's Degree in English, and a Master's in Public Service Administration from DePaul University.

She has nearly ten years' experience working in the non-profit field, and an additional eight years of volunteer experience.

 

William Alexander

William Alexander is the Vice President for Generation Iraq. His work involves designing and implementing all of Generation Iraq's marketing campaigns for newsletters, donation drives, website, and more.

Mr. Alexander was raised in Chattanooga, TN for the majority of his life and attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN where he received his Bachelors Degree in Economics. He received a community service scholarship while attending Rhodes and did various forms of service such as working with: Habitat for Humanity, Memphis Crisis Center, and leading the Iraq ProPeace movement on Rhodes campus.

For the past few years, William has been living in Chicago, IL where he is pursuing his Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and looks forward to pursuing his Doctorate in the field soon afterward.

Mr. Alexander has been working on and off with Generation Iraq for the past few years, volunteering his time whenever he could. In August, he accepted the position of Director of Development for Generation Iraq and now dedicates himself full-time to working toward a brighter future for the youths of Iraq.

Ahooed Al-Fadhly

Ahooed Al-Fadhly is our Project Director in Basra.  She is a graduate of Baghdad Unviersity with a B.A. in Mass Communication which she received in 1984.  She also received a Master's in Communication in 1986 and carries a degree in Nursing which we completed in 1989.  

Ms. Al-Fadhly is married with three children.  In addition to the work she does for Generation Iraq, she is also the community advisor for the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA).   

Ahooed also worked with UNDP investigating women's conditions post-war and also with the Iraqi Reconstruction and Employment Program helping create jobs and minimizing unemployment among women.  

She is very active in women's issues and publishes her own journal called Iraqi Women's Echo.  She also heads two charitable organizations; Women of the Reef, and Al Ata'a.  

Ms. Al Fadhly has worked with Generation Iraq on the establishment of women's sewing workshops, provided training in human rights education in rural areas, and been involved in the establishment of libraries in the South, including the most recent one at Al-Turaba Elementary.


Noha Al -Agha

Ms. Noha Al-Agha runs the Baghdad division of Generation Iraq as our Project Director.  

She has been involved with Generation Iraq almost since its inception in 2005.  

Ms. Al-Agha works diligently to provide relief and assistance to the orphans in Baghdad inlcuding those at Beit El Tifil and St. Hanna's orphanages.  She is in charge of the vocational programs for the orphans as well, helping to coordinate the programs including finding instructors, arranging transportation, and securing supplies.  She also runs the School Partners Program facilitating comunication between children in Iraq and those in the United States and Australia.  

Ms. Al-Agha has also worked at the U.S. Embassy and with the Inspector General's office as well as working as a translator for the Coaliton Provisional Authority (CPA) as well as offering lectures on human rights and women's rights.

Noha graduated from the University of Baghdad in 1971 with a B.A. in English.  She is married and has two daughters.
