Orphans' Day
Under the patronage of Generation Iraq, a
celebration was held on April 11, 2008 in honor
of Orphans� Day. This celebration took place at
The Department of Social Services� Dar El Tifil
Orphanage. The children received gifts,
clothing, and shoes. Numerous activities were
planned for the day. After singing the national
anthem, they joined in performing a variety of
songs and dances. It was a wonderful day for the
children who were delighted with the generous
gifts they received.
At the end of the celebration, the children
expressed their thanks to Generation Iraq for
the support this organization continues to
provide for this orphanage. They also expressed
their appreciation for all those who continue to
provide humanitarian assistance around the
globe.
